Oh! Hello there Job#3!

That's right folks, the irresponsible slacker - Alyssa Fedorowich - is going for yet another source of employment. I figured that there is no possible way I can afford rent, food, excess activities (dinners, impulse shopping, concerts...) and on top if it all, saving up for photography school. Goodness this is going to be an exhausting year. I just have to continue to remind myself that it will all be worth it in the end... right?

Review: Where the Wild Things Are

I saw this movie last night alongside my boyfriend, Sean. I don't even know where to begin. Being read the book as a child, I had this excitement built up within me ever since the first preview I had seen for the film about two or so weeks ago. I had no idea what to expect, other then a phenomenal soundtrack, seeing as how the original childrens book was only about 10 pages long, if that. I was expecting the "Wild Things" to make an appearance within the first few minutes of the film. Little did I know, I would have to wait about a full half hour. I didn't mind the wait seeing as how it became that much more exciting when the furry creatures appeared upon the big screen. For the first half hour of their appearance, I was excited and my whole attention was drawn towards the story line. As sad as it may seem, the story eventually dragged on along with a story line that I had not at all previously expected. The soundtrack was indeed "phenomenal" and I honestly feel that it pulled the movie together, and at most times, brought a hefty amount of excitement to the film. I highly reccomend taking a listen. As far as the Wild Things, they were incredibly well thought out and quite interesting to watch. I would urge anyone who has the slightest interest in going to see this film, to not wait for it to become a renter. Seeing it on the big theatre screen is the only way to go! This film brought so many emotions along with the story line. Happiness, excitement, frustration, confusion, sadness.. and yes, even a tear was shed. Now, go scrounge yourself up some money for this film and do your imagination a favor!

Thrifty Finds

As I sit at a desk for hours at a time, five days a week, you can imagine the interesting things I find on the good ol' internet. I just though I would share some of them with whoever rarely grazes over this page.

Great thanks to " happycavalier.typepad.com/my_weblog". Without viewing her blog, I would have no post to write up. The finds she has on her blog are incredible, beautiful and highly interesting to me personally. There is not a single thing on her blog that I am not interested in. Please go and do yourself a favor by taking a look at her many links!

Brand New

Hello Hello Hello

Alyssa, here. Clearly right? I figured a blog was a great way to share, vent, discuss and just about anything else, while being in denial that someone will actually be reading about what I have to say which seems quite unlikely but I guess "you'll never know if you never try". Here goes nothing...
